Angled Joints For 2 1/2curtain Rods

Facades Thermal insulation materials Microcogeneration

Most of the energy demand of buildings is from heating and cooling them. This demand is influenced by the thermal insulation in walls that constitute its thermal envelope.

Among the many commercially available technologies to reduce energy demand in buildings stressed the use of reflective insulation .

The flow of heat through the walls of the thermal envelope of buildings caused by heat transfer methods:
  • Transmission driving. Transmission
  • convection . Transmission
  • radiation.
traditional materials (rock wool, polyurethane ...) are not very effective in reducing the gain / loss of heat by radiation.

During the winter between 50-75% of heat loss through the covers and between 65-80% of wall loss due to thermal radiation. While in summer to 93% of heat gains are due to thermal radiation.

Using reflective insulation materials in buildings comes from experience gained in the aerospace industry.

The structure of these materials combines the use of aluminum thin films with high reflectivity of thermal radiation with an array polyethylene bubbles.

Through the use of such materials can reduce cooling energy demand by up to 30%.

Also presented the following characteristics:
  • Good soundproofing.
  • Easy installation. Waterproof
  • . Duration
  • .
  • fire resistance.
Its use is appropriate in many constructive solutions such as:

Covers

ventilated facades

Facades

Soil

Underfloor heating

Bladders
