The population of El Palmar is located slopes of Park Valley and Carrascoy
Carrascoy Regional Park - The Valley covers an area of \u200b\u200b16,724 hectares and its highest point is Mount The Clockmaker, with 609 m. To reach the Valley, travelers can go in several ways, for Los Alcazares or by the pool, to conduct an extensive tour of the mountains. This is mostly for the hilly landscape dotted with shady pine frequently abandoned fields and some crops.
Today, this natural area is proposed to join the future Natura 2000 (European Network of Natural Areas). In addition, large areas of the Park have been declared Special Protection Area for Birds (SPA) and Site of Community Importance (SCI), both forms of protection at European level.
